Rakku Tree Incense Holder

Raku is an incredible ceramics technique that involves firing metallic glazes at high temperatures. Only the strongest pieces survive the intense heat of the kiln.

This hand-painted incense holder plate features a full moon (with crackle glaze) rising behind a field of pine trees. The back side has three felt "feet" and artist's signature.
